What!?
Indeed. That is seriously fucked up all the way around.
OHGODNOTAGAIN. This made the rounds on my friendslist a couple years ago, and is now used as torture and punishment in my household.
I don't think you watched the whole thing.
OKAY.
(we watch this at least three times a week at the salt mines o' porn...)
Apparently Jamie has never spent time on ytmnd.com

Yes, and I don't read 4chan either, or any of the rest of that crap. Instead, I wait until someone else sends me the occasional gem that happens to bubble to the top of those lakes of vomit every six months or so. It's much more efficient.
Seconded. The signal to noise ratio on that entire collection of sites is beyond painful, and the truly funny stuff will always float to the top and get posted somewhere that doesn't typically attract the bottom of the bottom of the rank, rat infested bottom of the 'net barrel.
Encyclopædia Dramatica tends to collect the better less awful parts of 4chan, YTMND, etc., but should be considered an intermediate step at best. It is surprisingly good at actually being an encyclopedia for stupid Internet memes, but for Gods' sakes don't look up Lazy Town on there.
By and large, though, yeah. Waiting for the Internet's natural filtration system to kick in is the best approach, at the marginal cost of having people going "didn't you see this on ${CRAPFEST} months ago?" at you.
Just don't surf ED without some kind of flash/jscript blocker. The banner ads have been dropping spyware lately.
That explains why the site makes my browser crash like nobody's business lately.
Yeah, LJ is nice because it's just the bottom of the rank, rat infested bottom, not the bottom of the bottom.

Wooow.
This is horrible compared to what was originally posted.
Taking crappy music that doesn't even sync with the video is weak.
your opinion is something that genuinely matters to me a great deal. thank you for expressing it.
I hate it so much. I used to be friends with a small group of people that actually love this show. So much so that they'd go to the live ones and dress up.
And they were college students.
After reading ultranurd's comment above, I rescind my comment, though none of my faith in humanity is restored.
I am friends with a small group of people that actually love this show. However, some of them are under 6 years old, so those ones are forgiven.

yeah, this also got a "wow".
Someone here on Thursday dragged me to a tubes terminal to show me this. I was less than pleased.
Well, you know, it's confusing. Pink hair + short skirt = sex object. Pre-teen = not sex object. How to choose?
Would it help you to learn that, against all evidence of your eyes, that she is not in fact jail bait but quite considerably over the age of consent in most of the world's modern democracies?
Wikipedia says she was born in 1991. This show was aired in 2005. That puts her well within jailbait range.
For some reason I was unable to do the subtraction in my head.
Scared me enough when I first saw the original.

And now it's unavailable. Curse this weak, fleshy body and its need for sleep!
I'm having fun trying to reconstruct what it was about from the comments, though. | |
