Does this mean I should be less offended to be called a Wanton Wench than to be called a Brazen Strumpet? Strumpet has such a nice ring to it.

Are you sure he didn't mean "Brazen Trumpet"? Because most trumpets are brass.

I guess it depends on what kind of blowing you're expecting. Much like the "saucy tart": it's only tasty if you know what the sauce is.

I would say that "Strumpet" has more of a blare than a ring. Particularly if she's "brazen" rather than "silvered."

I've always been partial to 51's-thru-75's myself...

Quick aside: do Slovenly trulls regenerate 3hp a round, just like their less-slovenly brethren?

Primitive serial mode. Most D&D implementations have used parallel randomness generators since at least 1985.

I think that was just a marketing ploy perpetrated by the dice manufacturers. Which clearly some people fell for, but us Luddites didn't.

Plus only one d10 came with the basic set. (mine was yellow.)

Showing my age, but in my day we only got the five Pythagorean solids, and we had to roll the d20 twice, discarding the first digit, in the snow, uphill, both ways.

Fitting, since that's what all my friendships were in those days.

I always used a 20-sider as the ones digit (just drop the tens) so I could do it in one shot.

Shit, I remember that table. I actually read it before I knew what a "harlot" was and made the mistake of asking my dad. All my D&D stuff disappeared shortly thereafter (and I never got back into playing it).

I am deeply saddened that Diabolical Hussy didn't make the list. Maybe it's just a random club monster encounter.
