I tried looking up the original comics, but King Features has locked them all down. Damn them, DAMN THEM!

Doh. I checked the URL for the first link, the second blended into the background because I'd just been there the day before.
That hurt my brain.
It must be nice to have that kind of free time.
Is there any particular reason why the acting in this is so terrible?

Lends credence to the idea that the videos are faithful adaptations of the comics. (Haven't seen the video yet, but still carry the mental scars of the comic as seen at a tender age.)

watched it. that hurt my brain too.
i'd say nothing (or less) was lost in the translation: while the strip is a slowly rotting waste of the mind, the video -- well, in the sense that it fully conveyed the measure of the strip, i'm tempted to say it's brilliant -- but, ouch.
They need to do this with Funky Winkerbean.
