Where are those fuckers endemic? Remind me never to go there.
That said, I saw a video of a tank of pirhanas eating a live mouse, and it was worse than this one. I'd post the link but I hate it so much that I refuse to google for it.
Where are those fuckers endemic? Skull Island, maybe. Eegh.

They tend to prefer bigger photos though.
Okay, I admit it. I'm a mammalist. I have an irrational preference for cute fuzzy mammals. I don't like it when they lose to things with too many legs.
The only GOOD BUG is a DEAD BUG.
Would you like to know more?

And immediately after this video was shot Sigourney Weaver showed up and killed it, right? RIGHT? Because I'm not going to sleep unless that fucking thing is DEAD.
I will name my nightmares after this.</i>
BLOW IT OUT THE GODDAMN AIRLOCK!

That is a hefty centipede. Even the little 1" long mofos that colonized the rotting stump in my yard when I was a kid freaked me out. Centipede! The giant millipedes are kind of cute, though.
I like the fact that the "YouTube is down" page features a guy trying to assemble an IKEA desk. Jerker series, I think.

A similar one lived in my backyard when I lived in the outskirts of Tucson, Arizona. Mine (and I use the term loosely) was Scolopendra heros</a>, the Giant Sonoran Desert Centipede (aka Giant North American Centipede).

I can't believe no one has said that yet.

lol
did anyone else think "mini-chtorr"?
When you touch it ... it's tasting you ...
That is easily the most terrifying thing I have seen all day...
last time I caught one of the biggish ones from around here (Texas Redhead) I put it in this bucket and it ran around in circles, making this really creepy noise. I tend to really like bugs and insects, even the dangerous ones (which I run into far too often), but the big centipedes are pretty damn freaky to me still. I actualy should save any that I find now and take them to a professor here in town who's using the venom as part of a cure for arthritis pains, apparently.
Tentacle whatever.... Amputee Realdolls.... Robot overlords... I can deal with all that...
But that video scarred me for life.
picture that as the tentacle that comes out of a robotic amputee realdoll.

You should be scared by the owner, not this poor thing | (Link)

This is just a poor centipede and poor mouse, all in a fish tank. The monster that owns that tank uses a feather to push the mouse to creature (just watch the second movie). I'm really scared now by the fact that I share this small world with this monster.

You must not have seen the feather when I pushed you toward LJ not too long ago ...
How long before it starts sodomising Moroccan prostitutes?
ack. Never sleeping again.
Reminds me of Burroughs...

You're thinking of a gianter centipede | (Link)

When I first heard of this, I thought it was a giant-centipede-eating mouse. This is not what I expected.
I refuse to watch the full video.
If that's not a grim meathook future, I don't know what is.
Just imagine one of those things crawling on you. Bleahhhhargh...
Whoa. I don't squick easily, but that was too much. Ew, ew, ew. Nearly put me off of yesterday's leftover tuna sandwich. But not quite [ Error: Irreparable invalid markup ('<munch,>') in entry. I've managed to keep myself from following this link and watching the associated video, but I am reminded of the time someone sent me a message about trepanation that upset me for a few days.
Ugh, just that picture is enough.
