bradthemad reports:

"The Dukes Of Hazzard are brought to you by Netscape."

Never ones to miss an opportunity for brand necrophilia, AOL/Time-Warner sponsored a weekend full of Dukes Of Hazzard reruns on the redneck channel this past weekend, and the above quote is taken verbatim from the into-spots bumpers.

Results 1 - 10 of about 139 for "Brand Necrophilia".

Brand necrophilia! I knew there was a term for it! This librarian thanks you...

A.

p.s. I don't know if you care, but I got this error code when I tried to reply to you first: Error running style: Died in S2::run_code running ReplyPage::print(): Can't call method "quote" on an undefined value at /home/lj/cgi-bin/ljlib.pl line 5847, line 873.

I don't know what that means, but maybe you do.

I've only started reading jwz's LJ recently, though I've been reading his "gruntle" writings for a while. But more I was being sarcastic, since really it could have applied to either.
